So you've purchased a few nice body wash sponges, made a few loofahs, and now are ready to bathe baby with your special baby shower sponge. How do you know your baby's skin is going to be smooth and soft without a little irritation? If the skin feels nice and soft after the bath, then it's ready for use.
In addition to using your shower pouf to prevent unwanted bumps and rough spots from building up on baby's skin, a body wash sponge, and a sea sponge in the tub will also help keep the bath environment nice and slippery for easier clean up. Just keep in mind that sea sponges and baby bath sponges are usually designed for use in the bath and have little or no interest in cleaning up, so try to stick to using one of these two for the time being until you're confident in your ability to take care of your baby's skin.
